Cape Fear Arch

A Collaborative Voice for Nature

The Cape Fear Arch is a special geologic feature stretching from Cape Lookout, NC to Cape Romain, SC that contains nationally significant animal and plant communities.

Created in 2006, the Cape Fear Arch Conservation Collaboration is a partnership of organizations and individuals interested in protecting this region while balancing the needs of man and nature.

Its mission is to develop and implement a community conservation vision to build awareness, protection and stewardship of the region’s important natural resources.

Fire Refresher hosted by The Nature Conservancy

It is that time of year again.  We will be hosting our annual RT-130 Fire Refresher Course at Carolina Beach State Park on January 12, 2018 from 0900-1500.  We can also do a pack test if you sign up in advance.  There will be an hour lunch break for you to pack a lunch or dine out.  This course is required for all TNC volunteers and staff.  Please RSVP to Mansfield Fisher at mansfield.fisher@tnc.org.  We will print out certificates prior to class, so this is important to sign up ahead of time.
